Better Back from Shark Tank: 5 Facts & Update

Better Back was featured on ABC’s hit entrepreneurial show, Shark Tank, and for good reason. The posture support system was designed to help improve people’s posture, and therefore overall health. 1) Better Back (also styled as BetterBack) was designed to improve a person’s posture by wearing the support system for just 15 minutes a day. Once you’ve been wearing it for a long enough period, you’ll find that even without it, your posture is greatly improved. They even have it in plus sizes, so it’s truly inclusive to every shape and size.

2) BetterBack was founded by Katherine Krug, who is an entrepreneur. During her work in her first company, Everest, Katherine found herself sitting a great deal. This led her to have back problems, according to her interview with ED News Daily. To combat her personal struggle, she decided to design a prototype product, which she tested with her family and friends. From there, the idea improved, and blossomed into what’s now known as BetterBack.

3) BetterBack’s social media presence is decent, although the pages they do have are not regularly updated. Their Facebook (which has 11,000 likes) has not been updated since 2019. Their Instagram (which has over 6,000 followers) has not been updated since 2018.

4) BetterBack struck a deal with Lori Grenier when they went on Shark Tank, and the “Queen of QVC” is still partnered with them. Since that deal, their sales have been great – Katherine told ED that they’ve done 10,000 units in over 115 countries!

5) Not only is the product recommended by doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists alike, but those medical professionals also wear the product themselves. How cool is that?
