The 1% Club Moves to FOX for Season 2 with New Host Joel McHale
The 1% Club has a new network to call home. The game show competition moves to FOX for its second season, not to mention, has a new host, Joel McHale. Read on for more details about the new season and the new host of The 1% Club.
What is The 1% Club?
According to FOX, “100 contestants from across the country compete for the chance to win up to $100,000. In each episode, [the] host will ask a series of increasingly difficult, logic-based questions.” There are 15 questions posed.
Contestants begin with the “the 90% question, one that 90 out of 100 people got right, and building towards the 1% question, which only 1 out of 100 people answered correctly” the description reads. So, who will answer the 1% question and win the grand prize of $100,000?
Originally airing on Amazon Prime, the first season saw two winners, Kate and Ben. They split the grand prize between them after answering the 1% question correctly. Season 1 also had Patton Oswalt as the host.
What about season 2 of The 1% Club and its new host, Joel McHale?
Season 2 of The 1% Club will exclusively air on FOX for the 2025-2026 TV season. Even though it’s on a new network, the show’s premise will stay the same. If you’re wondering about a premiere date, wonder no more, because FOX recently announced their summer schedule. The 1% Club premieres Tuesday June 10, 2025. Presumably, subsequent episodes will premiere Tuesday nights on FOX.
“It’s giving best summer lineup ever?? ☀️😊,” the caption reads. Check out the official schedule now.
The second season also sees Joel McHale step in as the host, replacing Patton Oswalt. FOX took to Instagram to announce Joel’s onboarding, writing: “Joel McHale is truly in his hosting era — look out, #The1PercentClub!”
The former Community star is no stranger to hosting or FOX TV series. Fans may recognize him from the comedy Animal Control, or the cooking competition Crime Scene Kitchen. McHale has posted about both series on his Instagram page, as seen below:
No news has been released about contestants for season 2. In the meantime, you can catch up on season 1 of The 1% Club. It’s available to stream on Amazon Prime.
