5 Facts on Kyle Klinger from Labor of Love

FOX’s all-new reality dating competition show puts 15 men in front of former Bachelor contestant Kristy Katzmann so she can find a potential soulmate and future father. 1) He’s 38 years old and from the south in Austin, Texas.

I once wrote that the Labor of Love experience was a mix of dating, parenting bootcamp & therapy. We spent hours every day talking about our past, our fears, & our feelings, things I’ve always kept to myself. Turns out this helped me work thru a lot I didn’t realize I was holding onto. I learned that for me, when I open up 💯, it creates space for deeper trust, deeper friendship, and deeper love. That’s a powerful thing to learn at 38, it changed me, and I’m a better man for it. Admittedly it’s not the relationship I wished for, and as so many have said, that part ‘just didn’t work out’. BUT, all the ups & downs, all the lessons learned, will surely make me a hell of a lot better husband, and a hell of a lot better father, when that time comes. It took me two weeks to stop saying “it just didn’t work out”, because in the end, looking back, it turns out it did. It just worked out. . To everyone who was a part of my journey, to my family, to my friends who have been with me through it all, to Kristy, to all 15 guys, to the amazing crew behind the scenes, everyone at Fox, and to all y’all who have supported me along the way, I’m forever grateful for the gift y’all have given me. 2) Kyle works as a sales and marketing director.

3) He was formerly in the Air Force.

5) During filming of the show, he grew close to fellow contestants Alan Santini and Stewart Gill. The trio spent some time on Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier a while back.
