1) He hails from Clover, South Carolina. It’s actually under an hour from Charlotte, North Carolina, but over 3 hours from Charleston, South Carolina.

2) According to the Post and Courier, he was pushed to audition for American Idol by some of his TikTok followers who admired his soulful voice. Speaking of TikTok, Aiden has 8 million likes and close to 357,000 followers. He auditioned in Nashville, Tennessee, and gave his followers a quick sneak peek:

3) The 19-year-old is currently a head chef at a senior living center in Charleston. He graduated from Clover High School, where he was part of chorus and school plays.

4) His preferred genres are indie, pop and soul. Aiden’s been singing for as long as he can remember. He would even sing himself to sleep growing up! In addition to singing, he plays some guitar and piano.

5) Even though Adair said it was a “scary” process, he’s confident in himself because singing is all he’s ever known. He also underwent a pretty major physical transformation over the last couple years, crediting boxing and his new fitness routine.
