5 Fun Facts on Ben Allen from The Voice

  • by

Ben Allen is the frontman for the Ben Allen Band, which is a country group from South Florida. The lead singer is currently competing on NBC’s nineteenth season of The Voice, and is on Team Blake (as in Blake Shelton.) But, who is Ben Allen? Find out more about the country crooner with these five fun facts below.

1) Ben didn’t start out as a country singer. In fact, he spent his time in Nashville, Tennessee flipping houses. It wasn’t until he moved to Naples, Florida that he picked up his old guitar.

2) He performed as part of an acoustic duo for two years, before he formed the Ben Allen Band.

3) Ben cites Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Dierks Bentley among his musical influences.

4) The band has opened for Thompson Square, and Charles Kelly of Lady Antebellum fame.

5) Ben’s band promises to deliver quality and diverse music to their audience, and they will be surprised by the “rockin’ good, and crazy fun night” of music they’d have if they went to one of their shows! Sounds like a pretty great motto.

You can follow Ben Allen on social media — be sure to check their Instagram account, as that’s where a lot of Voice related updates will be posted! Catch Ben and his band on NBC’s The Voice, which airs tonight at 8/7 c.
