Update on Shark Tank’s Better Life

  • by

Better Life is the line of all-natural cleaners that made a great first impression on ABC’s Shark Tank. In the 2014 episode, all 5 panelists put in bids for the company. In the end, the “Queen of QVC” Lori Greiner won out. So, what happened post-show? Find out below with our update and fast facts.

5 Facts About Better Life

1) Better Life was created by Tim Barklage and Kevin Tibbs. The idea came to the duo back in 2008 when they were watching their toddlers crawl around on the floor. Dirt, dust, and potentially harmful cleaning residue picked up by their kids’ hands got the dads thinking. Is there a cleaning solution that could be effective without compromising on safety? That’s how their product was born.

2) Their cleaning agents are all-natural, made from plant and mineral-based materials. They are never tested on animals, and are biodegradable. The products are also naturally scented, with no harsh dyes or perfumes.

3) Their product line is quite expansive. All-purpose cleaner, dish soap, floor, kitchen, and glass cleaners are available. Laundry and surface cleaning solutions are also options. Cleaners for screens and nurseries are online too.

4) Bold labels and a sleek look are major selling points for the products. Appealing scents like citrus or grapefruit help too. Plus, you really can’t beat the prices!

5) Since their Shark Tank appearance, they’ve gotten into retailers like Meijer. Better Life’s been featured in Real Simple and Better Homes & Gardens too. The sky’s the limit for this company!

Catch Shark Tank‘s 13th season starting October 8 at 8 PM ET. In the meantime, watch other episodes on Hulu or on demand.
