Get to Know Cassandra Coleman

1) She’s 24 years old and from Columbia, Tennessee. It’s about 45 minutes from Nashville.

2) Cassandra has a YouTube channel. She’s been uploading covers for eight years now! Her first cover was of Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me.” Her most popular video is the song cover “Willow” by Jasmine Thompson. It has 23,000 views. Check it out below:

3) She’s into photography. She enjoys black and white photos, but also ones that give off a vintage vibe.

4) For her American Idol audition, she sang “The Way It Was” by The Killers. An interesting thing she told the judges? She doesn’t usually perform! She gets nervous even singing in front of her family. But, she absolutely killed her audition. In just under a month, her tryout has over 1.6 million views! Luke Bryan commented that Cassandra has, “a new voice the world has never heard before.”

5) She’s verified on Instagram. That’s right, she has the blue check mark! Cassandra has close to 26,000 followers on the social media platform. Pretty amazing for someone who has yet to release original music. But, with her powerful voice, she’s sure to go far. Luke Bryan called her talent “God given,” so let that speak for itself!

When @hunterjmetts and I first met, two of the first things we connected on were being from Nashville and both being fans of @bristonmaroney. 🙂 If you haven’t heard of Briston, you gotta check him out. !!! 3. I feel she has a voice that is so real and new I liken her to when Elvis came onto the rock and roll scene. She has that presence. Good luck Cassandra. I want to hear a whole lot more of your singing.
