American Idol is back for season 20 this month. Cole Hallman will take the stage in front of millions of Americans. The young guitar player will audition in season 20 for judges like Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Get to know more about him below with these five facts.

Who is Cole Hallman from American Idol Season 20?

1) Cole hails from Manasquan, New Jersey. His dad David is a school superintendent and his mom Nicolle is a teacher, according to 94.3 The Point. They are both super supportive of his career.

2) His relationship with his sister Katie is so heartwarming. Katie has a form of Autism; she loves seeing Cole perform. He even posted a couple videos to his TikTok featuring this. Check them out below.

3) Cole began recording music only a year after getting his first guitar. He even released two projects, Priceless Junk and Clearly Cloudy. But, he wrote in an Instagram post that he’s since removed them from Spotify and Apple Music. He felt he released them prematurely, but he plans to re-record them. Cole did say that his debut album will “knock your socks off.” See his full Instagram post below:

4) His latest song “Other Lover” is available on all music streaming platforms. Cole released it in January, shortly after announcing his American Idol appearance. He wrote: “My song ‘Other Lover’ is now out anywhere you listen to music. Huge thanks to @ryanmcshea for playing piano on the track, he’s a great guy and a killer musician. Go stream it!! Link in my bio!!”

5) When he’s not working on his music, Cole enjoys spending time with his family and friends. But, that’s not all he enjoys – he likes surfing and boating too.

Catch Cole Hallman on season 20 of American Idol, premiering February 27 at 8 PM ET, only on ABC. But, if you miss it, or just want to rewatch, you can stream the episodes next day on Hulu as well.
