1) He played for Oakland Athletics from 2007-2011. They are often referred to as “The A’s.” The position he played was pitcher.
2) On May 9, 2010, Dallas pitched a perfect game. It was the 19th in the history of major league baseball. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t pitch for a couple seasons due to shoulder injuries, which later caused him to retire.
3) In 2014, he began his broadcasting career. First, he was with ESPN before moving to NBC Sports California. In 2017, Dallas started his own podcast called Starting 9. There was a Facebook Live show in conjunction with it too.
4) The same year he began his broadcast career, he also married actress Megan Barrick (now known as Meg Braden). Together, they have two daughters: Kinslee and Marlee.
5) He’s got 41,000 Instagram followers, and 90,000 on Twitter. Dallas is verified on both platforms. You can even follow his wife Meg on Instagram too: @meg.braden. She actually just wished him a happy 38th birthday on August 13, which you can see below.
