Meet Devix from The Voice Season 22

Devix made his debut on NBC’s The Voice for Season 22 on night 2 of the blind auditions. He went up in front of the coaches Camila Cabello, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and John Legend. His rendition of Heat Waves got the attention of the celebrity coaches. Let’s find out more about this talented guy.

Where is he from?

1. Devix is a 28 year old singer-songwriter hailing from York, Pennsylvania but originally from Queens, New York. Devix is his stage name. His proper name is Eric Torres.

2. This isn’t his first time trying out for NBC’s competition show. In October 2020, Devix revealed he had just auditioned for The Voice. He wrote, “Came back from trying out for The Voice Season 19 to sing with Season 7’s DaNica Shirey and my brother at The Cantina.”

3. He has a message to all the single people! “Never settle until you find the right one,” he says. Devix shared a song he wrote dedicated to the hopeless romantics.

4. It’s hard to tell. Although, he posted this selfie of he and his friend Sarah taking in a live concert together. Are they just friends or more?

“I’ve always known that I live my life through music, and last night I had the most incredible concert experience I’ve ever attended. To be able to share moments like this with your best friends is not just a privilege, but an immensely valued life experience that will be remembered forever,” he wrote.
