Who is the woman on the Lume Deodorant commercial?

  • by

Dr. Shannon Klingman, MD is the OB/GYN  who invented Lume Deodorant.  She also invented Mando Whole Body Deodorant.  After hearing so many patients coming in complaining about odor down below their belts Dr. Klingman was tired of seeing women leave with false diagnoses for odor.  It took her ten years to build the Lume solution.

Dr. Klingman is the one who is on the commercial you’ve seen many times for Lume Deodorant.

She was able to prove through clinical testing that the real culprit of most body odor is actually bacteria on the skin digesting bodily fluids.  It is exactly the same reason we have an odor anywhere on our body including armpits. stomach folds, thigh creases, vulvas, feet etc.

Her sister was the one who first tested the product and proved it worked!

It blocks the bacteria from digesting fluids on your skin – like sweat, semen, blood, and urine – and prevents B.O. from happening in the first place, anywhere on your body.

It is very effective and stops odor before it starts and controls body odor for 72 hours.

The products come in multiple formats including a solid stick deodorant, a cream tube deodorant, a mini body wash, and deodorant wipes.

She is an animal lover.  She has a Great Pyrenees and a couple of cats.

She is from Minnesota and has two children, a son Bennett who is interested in theater and played Patrick Star in Spongebob the Musical.

She is also an avid gardener.  She shared a photo of a pretty large garden she is working on.

Dr. Klingman is also a fan of comedy, particularly Sebastian Maniscalco and she shared a little story of when she went to see him and tried to take some video but was stopped by security.  She has good taste in comedy!

She loves her deep dish pizza!  Here is what she said, “Chicago Style deep dish pizza from Giordano’s Pizza it’s basically a casserole.
