Fredrik Eklund is a real estate broker known for his role on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York. The Swedish tycoon will appear alongside his cast mates on Celebrity Family Feud. 1) He married artist Derek Kaplan in 2013. In 2017, they had twins via surrogacy. They have a boy named Fredrik Jr., and a girl named Milla.
2) While he’s has a great career in real estate, he was first interested in IT. He founded an internet company at just 23 years old!
3) Fredrik’s father works in finance, and was the one who got him into the world of investment banking. He went to work at SEB, the same company where his dad is. Fredrik worked in the London, Tokyo, Stockholm, and Singapore offices.
4) It was after that work he moved to NYC and began his real estate career. Currently, he’s the managing director of two firms: CORE and Douglas Elliman.
5) Eklund founded his own brokerage, Eklund Stockholm New York. It’s Scandinavia’s most high-end real estate agency. He’s done over 5 billion dollars in sales over the course of his career.
