American Idol is back for season 21. ABC’s hit reality competition singing show has transformed ordinary people with extraordinary talent into major stars. Now, more contestants will take the stage to perform for the judges on this all-new season. Get to know one of them below, singer Haven Madison. Find out more about her, including her age, hometown and family life.
1) She is 16 years old and is from Clarksville, Tennessee. Haven attends Clarksville High School where she’s part of the Wildcats cheerleading squad. The teenager shared some snapshots in January with her friends, writing: “Go kitty kats 4L.”
2) Her father, Jason Roy is a singer in a Christian band called Building 429. He even joined his daughter for the American Idol audition, playing guitar for her as she sang. Jason posted this heartfelt Instagram post, congratulating his daughter, saying: “It’s been a crazy couple of months for our family and specifically for Haven. So grateful for a night off and a little time in the cold turning off the brain and enjoying some of the Christmas festivities!! Love you Havie!!”
3) In her Instagram bio, she refers to herself as a “Wannabe Hannah Montana.” With her long blonde hair and colorful clothes, she’s definitely one stylish singer!
4) Since fall 2022, Haven’s been dating football player Jacob Wiggins.
5) Just last February, she released an extended play (EP) titled All the Things I Didn’t Say. Now, a year later, she will be singing on television to audition for American Idol! While we’ll have to tune in to see if she got the golden ticket to Hollywood, she did give fans a little sneak peek on TikTok of what her audition looked like for the show! Check it out below:
