Jesse Desorcy from The Voice – 5 Fun Facts

  • by

The Voice is back and better than ever this week. One new contestant who will audition in season 20 is Jesse Desorcy. We’ve got five facts about The Voice hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Jesse.

1) Jesse Desorcy is not only a solo act, but he fronts a band too. His band, Back Rhodes, is a progressive country group with rock influences, according to their IG bio.

2) Jesse is from Rhode Island (hence the band name above). His local newspaper did a story on his Voice blind audition. Jesse’s described as a country-rock musician.

3) He plays the guitar, and banjo. His solo project – coming soon apparently – is a “departure” from what his band would usually put out. It still has those classic sounds that make it unique Jesse, but it’s got a depth, his brother told the paper.

4) While his band is already on iTunes and Spotify, Jesse as a solo act has yet to be on the platforms.

5) He’s got an adorable dog named Gibson (more than likely after the guitar). Gibson, or Gibby, as he’s called, is often featured on Jesse’s social media. Check out a photo below:

So, with his country charm, do you think Jesse can turn a chair? Find out what happens when The Voice airs starting Monday, March 1 at 8 PM ET, only on NBC.
