American Idol airs its last round of auditions this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Liv Grace Blue We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Liv.
Update 3/21/21: On Hollywood Week Liv Grace Blue came out on the stage and sang, “Ain’t No Sunshine.” She unfortunately didn’t continue on after the first round of Hollywood Week.
1) Liv Grace Blue is a singer-songwriter. While she hasn’t released original music yet, her YouTube covers have gained a lot of traction recently. For example, this cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” is sensational. Check it out below:
Bonus Fact: She’s got a decent social media following too. On Instagram, she has over 5,000 followers.
2) She will release her debut single on March 8. It’s called “Don’t Need a Man.” The song will be released via Happy Home Recordings, according to Submit Hub.
3) She’s 17 years old. She also wrote in her IG bio that she’s a fan of sushi.
Bonus Fact: Her signature look is her bright, almost platinum blonde hair. While she wore it short for her Idol audition, on her Instagram she wears it long in a variety of styles. From braids to buns she’s rocked it all.
4) She’s inspired by 80’s icons and old school romances. Liv is often posting about people like Madonna or Pamela Anderson. Of course, vintage models like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are featured on her profile too. These people seem to influence both her style and music.
5) When she’s not singing, she enjoys being a teenager. She likes to hang out with her friends, attend carnivals or festivals (pre-pandemic), and go to the beach. She’s all about living her best life, and that confidence will serve her well on Idol.
