The Lug Bug baby carrier accessory was designed to make parents’ lives easier by giving them a break from all that back and shoulder pain that can sometimes accompany traditional baby carriers. 1) Lug Bug (stylized as LugBug), was originally created as a baby carrier handle that helped alleviate back and shoulder pain some parents experience with regular handles. The handle was designed to keep little ones safe, and make parents comfortable. They’ve since expanded to include baby/toddler apparel. The company did not walk away with a deal or a “shark” from the show.
2) The founder of the company is Nathan Day, and he was a first-time dad himself when he hatched the idea for LugBug. It took a dislocated shoulder for him to see that there was obviously a different approach to how parents “lug” around their kids in carriers. Put all that together, and there you have the LugBug Handle.
3) The brand has a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page, but none of the 3 profiles have been regularly updated. The Facebook hasn’t been updated since summer 2019; Twitter since summer 2018; Instagram since summer 2019.
4) Their LugBug Apparel is eco-friendly, organic, ethical, and long lasting.
