American Idol is back this month for season 20. One contestant trying to make her dreams come true on the show is Maddie Glidewell. Find out more about the singer below with these five fun facts.
Who is Maddie Glidewell from American Idol Season 20?
1) Maddie posted to her Instagram regarding her Idol audition. She wrote: “SUPRISE! I might just have tried out for American idol! Stay tuned on abc network to see #maddiebelle on February 27th at 8 pm central!” She is wearing the same pink dress she wore in her audition. Check out the post below.
2) She’s currently dating a boy named Joshua. He plays hockey and golf, and the two seem madly in love. Maddie recently posted a tribute to him, writing: “Thank you for everything you do for me ! Thank you for making me live life and love life a little bit more . I can’t thank you enough for showing me more than anyone else ! Your amazing j and have the biggest heart. 1,4,3 forever and forever !”
3) Maddie, also known as Maddie Belle, is studying to be a nurse practitioner at SKYCTC, aka: Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. Prior to that, she attended Barren County High School. She grew up in Glasgow, Kentucky, but now lives and works in Bowling Green.
4) She’s really close with her mother, Tammy Glidewell. Her mom is her “best friend in the whole wide world.” Other details on Maddie include her love of cheerleading and gymnastics.
5) Something else you may not know about Maddie? She used to be brunette! The usual blonde posted a selfie to Facebook with dark brown hair in 2021. It really makes her eyes stand out.
