The company started by Jill Visit has been featured in The New York Times, The Strategist, Austin American-Statesman, NPR, and The Boston Globe.
The salad spinner could be seen as a competitor but it’s been said that people are tired of their salad spinners because they are too bulky and you just don’t have room for them in your cabinet.
The product was born from a frustration. Frustration with the salad spinners that were tough to wash and bulky to store. It was actually created accidentally according to saladsling.com. They took microfiber (an upgrade to a dish towel) to use to pull moisture from the surface of greens. A waterproof liner was included so the moisture stays inside the sling while you are actually twirling and swinging it.
Even better, it is machine-washable, small for storage, and costs less than a salad spinner.
The super absorbent microfiber will allow you to dry your greens and not have to deal with any soggy salads.
The product first came out for pre-order on Amazon in February of 2019.

According to their official website, even a little moisture can prevent the dressing oils from sticking to the greens and instead becomes a puddle at the bottom of the salad dish.
