‘The Voice‘ is coming back for season 21 on September 20, 2021. The NBC hit competition show is welcoming back judges Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. The coaches are certainly in for a whole new experience with a popstar of Ariana’s caliber being part of the team. However, the resumes of Blake, Kelly, and John are nothing to ignore! Girl Named Tom
A Girl Named Tom is actually not named Tom and it’s a group comprised of two men and a girl. They used the name “Tom” because the girl was always called a tomboy. On Instagram the group posted a message thanking their supporters for tuning in to their blind audition on The Voice.
“HUGE thank you to everyone for watching the premiere! We are so grateful for the opportunity to sing on The Voice stage & could not believe our eyes when we saw all 4 chairs turn around… WHAT?! amazing!!! Thanks for all your love & kindness!”
They shared a story of how they began in music. The trio picked their band name only two short years ago and hit the road. They say it’s as if they’re only starting out now.
Carolina Alonso
Carolina Alonso gave a behind the scenes look at her blind audition. She said she was so relieved that the cameras didn’t catch her legs shaking on that stage because they were definitely trembling. She has imagined herself up on that stage ever since she started watching the show years ago. Carolina calls the whole experience, “surreal.”
Jeremy Rosado
Jeremy Rosado is a Christian. The very first line on his Instagram bio proclaims, “I love Jesus.” It appears that Jeremy auditioned for American Idol 9 years ago in 2012. This was when Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler were on the judges panel. You can see him sing for the wildcard in this video below.
