1) Some of his musical inspirations are: Tank, Stevie Wonder, and Brian McKnight. Tobias even got to meet Tank at a concert, writing: βββReal R&B is still alive and there are artists in the game keeping it authentic & genuine.βΒ
2) According to his LinkedIn, he received a BFA in Music from North Carolina A&T State University. He got his Masters in Marketing from Liberty University in 2020.Β
3) Currently, he teaches choir (or chorus) at Southampton Middle School in Virginia. He also plays keyboard for his church.Β
4) His many skills include working as a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and musician. He even won HBCU GOT TALENT in North Carolina, which allowed his group 3rd Lane to compete for studio time with a record label in Charlotte.Β
5) Specialties of his include: R&B music, gospel and smooth jazz. By the way, he also goes by Prince T.C.H. on social media. His goal is to uplift people through his music. We think heβs well on his way to doing just that. Plus, heβll reach more people with his voice on American Idol.Β
