Judy Justice has been a hit for Freevee since its inception in 2021. The cast is led by Judge Judy Sheindlin, and includes Sarah Rose Levy, Kevin Rasco, and of course, Whitney Kumar, who we’ll be discussing in this article. Whitney Kumar was born and raised in Southern California. According to her official bio, she played golf in high school and through her college career. Speaking of college, Kumar attended South Coast College and began her work as an official deposition reporter in 2006.
She is a certified shorthand reporter and successfully maintains that status on the Los Angeles Superior Court-Approved Reporter list. Whitney didn’t let 2013 budget cuts phase her. She began her own firm with her twin sister, Kamryn, also a court reporter. It’s during these times that Whitney garnered knowledge about civil, family law and high-profile court cases.
Currently, Whitney Kumar is the official court stenographer for the Emmy-winning series Judy Justice. She is married to husband Vijay Kumar with whom she has two kids, a son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golf, as well as hanging out with her family and friends.
According to her Instagram bio, she’s a coffee mug enthusiast and likes wearing loafers. She even has a highlight reel called “Loafer Life” where she documents all her outfits from the show. Whitney’s stylish suits are also a staple on her social media feed.
Some of her go-to makeup products on set are by Rinna Beauty and NV Airbrush. Other brands include House of Lashes, Viseart and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
