1) She is 18 years old, and was born in Omaha, Nebraska.
2) After coming out in January, she’s in a relationship with Kylie Prew. JoJo’s received a lot of support from the LGBTQ+ community and her fans. Other celebrities showed their support too, including Kim Kardashian and Iggy Azalea. According to PEOPLE, technically she identifies as pansexual.
3) Her dance career took her to Los Angeles. Appearing on Dance Moms for 2 years catapulted her star power exponentially. It made for an easy transition into singing for her too. She released hit singles like “Boomerang” and “Kid in a Candy Store.”
4) Her mom, Jessalynn is a professional dance instructor. Her dad, Tom, is a chiropractor. Her older brother, Jayden, is a vlogger.
5) She won two Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for “Favorite Social Music Star” in 2019 and 2020. Speaking of social media, JoJo has over 618,000 Twitter followers, over 10 million Instagram followers, and over 12 million YouTube subscribers. That’s impressive!
