1) Andy is the co-host of the Dear Shandy Podcast. He co-hosts it with his wife Sharleen Joynt, hence the title (a coupling of their names). The podcast is a relationship and dating series where the couple gives advice and answers questions from fans. With 16,000 Instagram followers and 29,000 YouTube subscribers, it’s a bonafide success.
2) Prior to his hosting duties, Andy worked on the wholesale and bulk distribution side of things in the essential oils business. Another fun fact is that his friend and Bachelor star Nick Viall also worked in essential oils at one point, running a company with his sister.
How and when did Andy and Sharleen meet?
3) Andy and Sharleen met on March 29, 2014. They both attended a benefit event in New York and met when Sharleen asked if she could take the empty seat by Andy on a sofa during the party. They ended up chatting and both made good first impressions of each other.
On an episode of their podcast recapping how they met, Sharleen said Andy reminded her of Richard Gere; he noted that her low voice was unexpected (but in a good way) when they chatted. The duo ended up talking the whole night and shared a cab home.

4) Fast forward almost a year later and the two were engaged in February 2015. They got married in September 2017 in NYC’s Battery Park Gardens. They actually did a civil ceremony at City Hall on January 30 of that same year, about 8 months prior to their smaller celebratory wedding.
5) While Andy and Sharleen don’t have kids, they did recently adopt an adorable dog named Ruby. According to Instagram, Sharleen rescued her from Ohio’s Small Dog Rescue. Now Ruby, the red poodle, lives happily with them in New York City.
