Luke Bryan said, “wow I love his voice.”

Luke Bryan said, “we have to figure out who is the star, but for American Idol, I have to tell you you’re in our top 24.”

He told his parents “I’m coming home in the top 24.”

Update 3/22/21: Graham and Cameron Allen were paired up for the duets. Graham moved on after his duet performance with Cameron but unfortunately Cameron didn’t.

Update 3/21/21: Graham said if he had to choose between singing and flying a plane it would be easily the singing career. He was chosen to move on to the Hollywood Duets Week.

Where is Graham DeFranco from?

1) Graham is 27 years old and is from Rockwell, Texas.

2) He said that the American Idol audition was the most challenging and rewarding thing he’s ever done. He was nervous to sing in front of the judges, but he was glad he did it.

3) He plays guitar in addition to singing. The song he chose for his audition was “Rock Salt and Nails” by Tyler Childers. You can hear him sing the cover while he was in San Diego at his hotel. Check it out below:

4) He’s an aerial survey pilot. He takes pictures for oil and gas companies, essentially. He had to stop that work because of the pandemic, but he’s been busy with his music now!

5) His family and friends were the ones that gave Graham a push to audition. Thanks to Idol, he feels more confident and is going to continue pursuing his music as a more full-time gig!
