1. KJ hails from the west coast in Los Angeles, California.

3. KJ is very close with her parents. In May she took a trip to Austin, Texas to celebrate her father’s birthday.

4. She is friends with last year’s 3rd place winner of American Idol season 19, Grace Kinstler. KJ posted a black and white photo of herself in Los Angeles saying “Can’t wait for you all to see what’s coming.” Grace commented, “Pretty lady!!!!”
5. KJ is actually new to Los Angeles, only living there for one year. She said, “This month marks a year of living in LA🤍 I posted a guide on my page of all my favorite spots! Including restaurants, wellness spots, café’s and more.”
6. Her favorite music influences are Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Freddie Mercury, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Moonchild, Stevie Wonder, and so many more.
She has a background in musical theater as well where she studied musical theater from 5th – 12th grade. KJ started pursuing jazz studies from when she was 14 years old.
