Matt Gorman is a contestant trying out for season 20 of American Idol. along with his girlfriend Kaylin Roberson. He’s set to take the stage for the judges on March 21. Before his TV debut, find out more about the talented singer below.
1) According to his Instagram bio, he’s a “Former college baseball player, full time musician, part time golf course grass cutter.” Music is his passion, and he’s been pursuing it heavily since moving to Nashville.
2) He grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Matt’s childhood was surrounded by sports. But that’s not all he had to appreciate. He had – and still has – supportive family and friends.
3) He played Division I baseball at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
4) Some other things he enjoys are: fishing and sitting by the fire. It’s important for him to enjoy each moment.
5) Another one of his goals is to extend his brand into other industries besides music. He also wants to give back, and find ways to make an impact on the community, according to his website.
