One Earth Designs from Shark Tank Update

  • by

In honor of Earth Month, we are all encouraged to come together and contemplate on how we can make our planet a more sustainable place to live. One of the few topics that is normally brought up is solar power, and how we can study it and perhaps make it a source that can be available to everyone which is where you will get the One Earth Designs update from Shark Tank.

At the hatching of this idea, solar sourcing company, One Earth Designs, made it their mission to not only raise awareness about the use of solar energy and its promise for a more habitual place for living, but to also find a shark to help back up their business and support their mission.

One Earth Designs’ mission was to help reduce the waste of outdoor cooking and make it less of a mess to pick up after grilling outside. Starting at $299, with various accessories ranging from $28 to $98, the solsource portable sun grill was able to convert sunrays into energy. After accepting an offer from Mark Cuban for five percent of Dr. Catlin Powers’ company, One Earth Designs.

After such a success over the past few years, One Earth Designs has unfortunately stopped production as of January 1, 2020. However, their non-profit brand will still promote the use of solar energy instead of fossil fuels that harm the environment. On a Q&A of their homepage, the company recommends those that are still interested in solar source cookers, including purchasing, are encouraged to purchase from these brands, just to name a few: All American Sun Oven, GoSun Solar Cookers, and Solar Burner.
