Update on Ready Set Food from Shark Tank

  • by

Ready Set Food was launched in 2018 out of Los Angeles, and two years later, they’re on Shark Tank. Cofounders Daniel Zakowski and Dr. Andrew Leitner worked with a team of physicians and allergists to create the early allergen product. Get more information on how it works below.

Details on Ready Set Food

1. Ready, Set, Food was developed as a preventative measure for parents to use regarding allergens. If they introduce common allergens early on, a reduction in allergies may occur. The most common allergens in food for young ones are milk, eggs, and peanuts.

2. According to RSF’s blog, they caught the attention of one major shark. Mark Cuban invested $350K in the company. Mark said he was “excited to partner” with the company, as food allergies are a major issue.

3. Ready, Set, Food, come in easy to use packets of milk, egg, and peanut. You add one into formula, food, or breast milk. You feed your baby like normal, and you’re introducing them to organic products. This can reduce the development of allergies by 80%.

4. If you’re a new customer, you should use stages 1 and 2; if you’re a returning customer, just stage 2 is fine. Stage 1 means gradual introduction over 15 days, while stage 2 is the continuation of the products over 6 months.

5. RSF offers 3 and 6 month subscription plans to sustain your infant’s exposure. But, if you’re not ready to commit, they offer a one-time purchase option via Amazon. Either way, you can’t go wrong when choosing.

The company’s featured on Mother.ly alongside Mindy Kaling, and in Disrupt Magazine. They’ve been to conventions and done news interviews. Safe to say they are set for a successful future. Be sure you’re following them on social media, as they’ve amassed over 14,000 on Instagram.
