Update on Sock Tabs from Shark Tank

There seems to be a new solution for the case of the missing sock: Sock Tabs. Beginning in Rockford, IL, Glen and Tracie Burress began creating a concept to help keep socks coupled to avoid losing one in the dryer. Thus, this began opening up many doors for the couple in November of 2014 and has brought them to Shark Tank’s attention. Get the Socktabs update below.

After being picked up by Daymond John for a deal of $50,000 for a 30% stake, the Burress’ graciously accepted. At the time, the business was initially looking for help in the business side of things. They were able to sell to local stores in the Rockford area, especially at Bed Bath and Beyond. They also have sold completely out of every product online.

Socktabs Update

After checking social media, it seems that the company may no longer be selling for Bed Bath and Beyond, but still sells their product on Amazon. Their reviews, although most are not good, show some hints that the tabs may not be their best product, but it shows this entrepreneur couple not only has experience, but also plenty of potential to go farther with whatever product they come up with next.

The companies most recent post on Facebook shows that the company has gone into hiatus. After an emotional journey, the Burress’ have brought their company back to life. Their stock is temporarily out, but they hope to replenish in the future.
