BooBoo Goo from Shark Tank Update

  • by

Shark Tank has always been about hopeful entrepreneurs shooting their shot. One young hopeful is Kiowa Kavovit, who appeared on the show during season 5. At the time, she was 6 years old, and pitched her product called BooBoo Goo to the sharks. So, where is she now? And what happened to her product? Find out below.

Update on BooBoo Goo from Shark Tank 2022

Kiowa Kavovit and her father Andrew Kavovit definitely made a splash in the tank, even obtaining a deal from Kevin O’Leary, it looked like the company went south rather quickly. They couldn’t fulfill orders and seemingly the company ended. Andrew Kavovit, who labels himself an actor, producer, entrepreneur and inventor lists his current work as CEO/Founder of HatchedHub. Hatched Hub is a product agency offering services in marketing and branding for new businesses.

What happened to BooBoo Goo?

1) Kiowa came into the tank with her father, Andrew. He helped his daughter manufacture a prototype. BooBoo Goo is a liquid bandage for kids, and comes in a wide range of colors/designs.

2) Kiowa and Andrew asked for $100,000 for 17% of their business. What they got was $100,000 for 25%. The deal they made was with Kevin O’Leary, aka: “Mr. Wonderful.”

3) After their partnership with Kevin, they announced more product ideas. BooBoo Bites, Burns, Salve, and BooBoo Block were the names of the new inventions to broaden their line.

4) Unfortunately, it looks like this deal didn’t last. According to Insignia SEO, Kiowa and Andrew were unable to fulfill the high volume of orders, and promised full refunds to people. At the time of Shark Tank, they were trying to get a patent for their bandage. But, it appears that never came to fruition either.

5) Their social media pages are no longer active. Their website domain isn’t live, and as far as we can tell, you can’t buy it online anywhere.
