5 Facts on Bunch Bikes from Shark Tank

Riding a bike is a great activity. But, if you and your family want to ride together, it can be a bit tricky. Enter, a cargo bike. Specifically, the one called Bunch Bikes. The innovative cargo bicycle works in both personal and commercial settings. It’s already a favorite amongst one shark, Robert Herjavec. Now, it’ll be seen by fans worldwide thanks to Shark Tank. 1) Aaron Powell is the inventor. Inspired by a family trip to Sweden, he wanted to make his own cargo bicycle. That way, he and his kids could ride around.

2) At first, Aaron wasn’t sure if the idea would be popular. But, as soon as he began taking his prototype around the neighborhood, people were curious. That interest gave him the courage to start a full-fledged business.

3) While there are a few other competitors, Aaron’s is the biggest company. He told the Denton Record Chronicle that he’s been working for months to prepare for his Shark Tank debut. A former employee was the one who convinced him to apply for the show. Plus, as we said earlier, Robert Herjavec is already a fan!

4) Currently, Bunch Bikes come in 4 styles: the coupe, the original, the preschool, and the K9. There’s room for one to two pets, or up to six children, depending on the model you purchase. Accessories are also available. You can shop on their website.

5) There’s no way to know if Aaron got a deal until the episode airs, but, regardless, his business is preparing for the exposure. He hopes that the national TV program helps get the word out, which will give them an uptick in sales.
