Hannah Alexandra is a Florida singer looking to make it big in Hollywood, and what better place to do that than on American Idol? The Miami-based musical artist will shoot her shot on season 21 of the hit series, which will premiere on February 19. Before her debut, get to know Hannah below with these five facts.
Who is Hannah Alexandra from American Idol Season 21?
1) Hannah is from Miami, Florida. She’s a Sunshine State native through and through. Tanned skin, beach-ready waves and of course, a love of being poolside are all quintessentially Floridian – and quintessentially Hannah!
2) You might not know this, but her first love isn’t actually singing. It’s dance! In 2017, she posted a few videos and photos of her dance moves, writing: “dear dance, i love you” and “dear dance, you will always and forever be my first love.” See her in action below!
3) But, not to worry, because since Hannah’s love of dance came from a love of music, it’s no wonder singing was another avenue for her to explore. She began posting singing videos in 2017, but things really took off thanks to the social media boom of TikTok. One of her most popular reels is a snippet of an original song she wrote. Hannah released her first single in 2020 titled “Stuck on Me.” She followed that with her second single “BLEEDING” in 2021. By the end of 2021, she had over 127,000 streams in 121 countries.
4) She began dating boyfriend Andy Suarez in May 2021. “one year with my blue bandana boy 🤍,” she captioned a photo carousel on May 24, 2022. So, she and Andy will celebrate two years in 2023!
5) Another fun fact about Hannah? She used to have dark brown hair. She has often switched from being brunette to being blonde. We think she can pull off both flawlessly!
