Kylie Rubin is a junior at girls school in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. At the school the girls all dress in plaid tunics and plaid kilts. While she is quite quiet in the school her life on the outside.
She was asked how she balances her very different lives in school and out-of-school. In the interview with hourglassnewspaper.com she said “If I am being completely honest, finding a balance is difficult at times, but I work everyday at it. Of course, like and kid, I want to do all the fun things and live that out-of-school life whenever I can, but I know that that choice is not the right answer when looking at the bigger picture, when looking at the future I want to build for myself.
Especially with 11th grade, school and everything is so hard, and it’s difficult to make the right choice and not go take a break from school. But I force myself to power through the hard work because I know I need to prioritize setting myself up for the future I want – and I see myself achieving that future by working hard at school.”
She spoke about others who perhaps have never heard the word “no.” She is very mature and wise beyond her years saying, “What will they have to look forward to if they have no sense of appreciation now?”
Kylie is very close to a life long friend, Sabine since they were young children and went to the same private all girls school.
Kylie enjoys spending her summers in the Hamptons. You can see her in Bridgehampton, New York with a friend in front of the ocean.
She is very close to her father, Michael Rubin and posted a birthday message to him saying, “Happy birthday to the best dad and my biggest inspiration!” Michael Rubin responded, “Love you so much!! You’re the best daughter in the world! Lucky to be your dad!”
Kylie also loves to go to basketball games with her family and little sisters.
She hangs out with celebrities including Kendall Jenner and Kevin Hart.
Looks like Kylie enjoys surfing too! She was trying to find just the right one while on the beach in Hawaii.
