Update on RollinGreens

RollinGreens is still going strong. They have a new post as of a few days ago on Instagram in front of their 10.9K followers. The post is about back to school and how the RollinGreens mix well into a lunch bag. They have been on QVC as well. They have 1255 Twitter followers and posted as of July 4th to show followers how to kickoff Independence Day with the RollinGreens.

The Offer

The Cunninghams walked into the tank requesting $500,000 for 10% equity in their business. Robert Herjavec offered $500,000 for 20% equity which was accepted.

1) RollinGreens’ Millet Tots are the only whole-grain, non-potato “tot” on the market. What sets them apart is the fact that they are a more nutritious option, as opposed to the greasier, fried tater tot.

2) Their creators, Ryan and Lindsay Cunningham, have the backgrounds to back up their product. Ryan has been an executive chef for 10 years, and has worked in plant-based restaurants. His wife, Lindsay, is a CEO who has years of marketing experience.

3) The idea actually came about after Ryan and Lindsay opened a food truck business. They resurrected Ryan’s parents idea of Rollingreens, which was the first organic food truck in Boulder, Colorado. After Ryan and Lindsay took it over, they had 5 successful years in business before realizing they needed to scale it back. Enter: RollinGreens Millet Tots.

4) These non-potato tots include: Vitamins B and B9, Omega 3’s and other fatty acids, protein, as well as fiber. They come in 3 different flavors: onion & sea salt, basil & garlic, and sweet potato with poblano chili.

5) RollinGreens have since expanded to include cauliflower wings, which yes – sound exactly like it is – a “chicken wing,” without the chicken. Instead, replace the chicken with cauliflower, and there you have it. They come in 3 flavors: teriyaki, spicy green buffalo, and sweet mustard.

We wish Ryan and Lindsay luck in pitching to the investors on ABC’s Shark Tank this week.
