An Update on Rounderbum from Shark Tank

  • by

Men deserve to feel confident in their own skin too. That’s precisely the goal behind Rounderbum, the padded underwear and shirt brand for men. Founded by Jonathan Diersing, the product is designed to make men feel and look their best. When Jonathan pitched his company on Shark Tank in 2018, he was expected to do a million in sales. So, where is Rounderbum now? Find out below.

Details on Rounderbum

1) When he pitched to the sharks in 2018, they were impressed by Jonathan’s sales projection, as they were only online at the time. Having a solid consumer base helped his sales sail towards the million mark. Of course, so did making high quality materials. There’s removable padding, and enhancing underwear; same goes for the upper body.

2) In addition to padded or lifted underwear, there are compression tees and tanks. You can even get 2 or 5-packs on certain styles. They come in a variety of colors too. Each is designed to improve the appearance of things, whether it’s the lower body, or posture problems.

3) According to CNBC, Diersing came in to the tank looking for $150,000 for 10%. Mr. Wonderful aka: Kevin O’Leary offered to invest the $150,000 for 5%. But, he’d collect $300,000 in royalties of $2 for every unit sold.

4) One of their newest products are boxer pad replacements. They are sold under the “accessories” column. While they are still online only when it comes to sales, they’ve migrated to Amazon.

5) Their social media presence is great for appearing on Shark Tank only 3 years ago. 29,000 followers and counting on Instagram; 2,220 on Twitter; incredibly, a combined 483,000+ on Facebook. Their YouTube channel has thousands of views too.

Watch Shark Tank on Fridays at 8 PM, only on ABC.
