Steve Doss is one of the program hosts at QVC. He’s always enjoyed entertaining people, which shows in his first job out of college as Aladdin at Disneyland. But nowadays, he’s one of the many faces to grace the small screens of shoppers everywhere. With previous hosting experience on various platforms like Snapchat, Facebook and YouTube, it’s no wonder Steve connects with the camera. There is more to him than just his work accomplishments, however. Learn about him below, including his family, favorites and more.
1) Steve is originally from California. While his family is still on the West Coast, he tries to get back as often as he can to visit. His younger brother, Derek is married to wife Amanda with two kids.
His parents names are David and Desiree. David is Japanese and German; Desiree is Mexican. David worked as a firefighter and was a captain. He retired in 2022 after 31 years of service.
2) Currently, Doss lives in Pennsylvania with his partner. He is in PA to be near the QVC headquarters for his hosting gig. His partner’s name is Barry Busby, and he is a Broadway performer. They have been together for 8 years and will celebrate 9 in 2024.
3) Steve has a major interest in food. His favorite food is a meatball – “any kind of meat, any kind of sauce”, according to his QVC bio. With his parents’ mixed heritages, holiday gatherings are “the best” at the Doss house. He enjoys presenting food and kitchenware on QVC too.
4) Doss’ birthday is September 20 and he is 44 years old.
5) When he’s not working, Steve likes to work out, or watch the latest television shows with a bowl of popcorn.
