  • by

StormBags will be on Shark Tank’s second episode of Season 15.  StormBags eliminate the need to stockpile sand as well as the heavy equipment and personnel required to fill and deploy traditional sandbags.  They are a California Certified Small Business.

The company was started by father and son team, Maurice and Miles Huffman.  The company is based out of California.

StormBags are under the StormTec name brand.  When dry they only weigh one pound but can expand to over 33 lbs when hydrated.  You won’t need to use sand and struggle to lift it all via shovel.  Instead you can protect your home with the StormBag!  It is a sadness bag.  StormBag is approved by the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, tested by the Salt Lake City Bomb Squad and the National Guard, plus it is made in the USA and is non-toxic.

It will help absorb 300x its weight in water eliminating the need to stockpile sand and the heavy equipment required to fill and deploy traditional sandbags.

Partners in the business include Swisslink a military surplus store offering clothing, camp & outdoors products, wool blankets, and more.  Their other partner is Wavian USA offering quality fuel cans and accessories.  Wavian USA is the American distributor for Wavian products.  The Wavian brand is well known internationally for quality and durability and we are excited to offer their NATO fuel cans in the United States.
