American Idol airs its last round of auditions this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Zachary D’Onofrio. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Zachary.
Get to Know Zachary D’Onofrio
1) This isn’t Zachary D’Onofrio’s first time auditioning for American Idol. He tried out back in 2018 during season 16. He was apparently one of judge Katy Perry’s favorites. Hopefully this second time’s the charm for him!
2) Get this: Zach met his girlfriend Catie the first time around on Idol! They’re still together, and are an adorable couple. His girlfriend Catie Turner is also a musician. She’s verified on Instagram with over 300,000 followers. Zach’s got a very nice following too, with over 23,000. The couple celebrated their one year anniversary on October 7, 2020.
3) He’s currently enrolled at Florida Southern College. His whole family – dad Bryan, mom Darci, and his sister, Taylor – helped him move in. How nice is that?
Bonus Fact: Zach attended Wiregrass Ranch High School in Wesley Chapel, Florida. He graduated in 2019. While in school there, he was a member of the National Honor Society.
