5 Facts on mcSquares from Shark Tank

An innovative whiteboard solution called mcSquares is making waves in the Shark Tank this week. mcSquares aims at decreasing the use of technology by increasing the human connection – all while using white boards to assist in planning, work, and other communication needs. Keep reading below for 5 facts on the product.

1) mcSquares was founded by Anthony Franco, and his mission is to build human connection through quality products, including whiteboards. This isn’t his first go-around though: he’s built and sold five other companies already! Wow.

2) The idea behind mcSquares is to sort of peel-apart the basic group meeting setting. Instead of one person holding all the power by a pen or presentation, everyone can have their voice heard by taking a separate “piece” to write on. The non-committal dry erase makes it easy and practically mistake-proof.

3) mcSquares have sticky-note like products, tablets, tiles, and other surfaces. It looks like their tiles are one of their most popular products, as they can often be used for the areas of storyboarding, strategic planning, and more.

4) Their core values include: creativity, experience, inclusiveness, responsibility, and community (people).

5) Another unique thing they do? For every “stickie” (sticky-note white board) they sell, they will plant a tree through Trees for the Future, which is an organization that invests in the planet’s future. How awesome is that?

You can try mcSquares out for yourself because they are sold on Amazon.com with prime shipping!

We wish Anthony luck in pitching his product, mcSquares, to the investors on Shark Tank, which you can see on ABC tonight.
