An Update on IceShaker from Shark Tank

  • by

IceShaker is a steel water and shaker bottle. It was pitched on ABC’s Shark Tank in season 9. Below, find out if the product was innovative enough to get a deal from one of the sharks, and where they are now.

IceShaker Update

1) Chris Gronkowski is the founder of IceShaker. His family is renowned in the sports world. Chris actually had a career in the NFL, and played on teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, and Denver Broncos.

2) Chris created the insulated tumbler with the ability to keep drinks cold for 30 hours. The product also acts as a shaker to mix protein shakes. 6 months prior to Shark Tank, they sold $80,000 worth of cups, according to Shark Tank Tales.

3) This, as well as the sports background adding credibility, allowed Chris to strike a deal with not one, but two sharks. Mark Cuban and Alex Rodriguez are the two sharks, and Chris negotiated a deal for $150,000 for a 15%.

4) The product grew from the singular 26 oz. size to 36 and 12 oz. sizes. There’s a 20 oz. skinny shaker too. New to the brand are cooler bags and can coolers. A variety of solid colors and fun patterns like tie-dye shake things up. But, that’s not all. Customization is available as well, with engravings.

5) IceShaker’s social media presence is strong. They are verified on Instagram with over 76K followers. Twitter has 8,500 followers; Facebook has 114,644 fans.

Catch all-new episodes of Shark Tank on Fridays at 8/7 c, only on ABC.
