American Idol airs its Hollywood round episode this week. One contestant taking part is Pajama Josh. If you’re curious to learn more about him, then keep reading below. We’ve got five facts on the musical talent.
Get to Know Pajama Josh
1) While his stage name is Pajama Josh, his real name is Joshua Hollin. According to this column, he came up with the fun moniker as a way to express himself.
2) He’s a digital associate on the Born This Way Foundation. It’s an non-profit organization. It was founded by singer Lady Gaga and her mother. In 2017, Josh started a podcast called “Channel Kindness Radio.” He also wrote a chapter in the bestselling book Channel Kindness.
3) He graduated in 2019 from Florida Atlantic University. His degree is in commercial music composition. Pretty cool, right? Sounds perfect for his future aspirations!
4) Josh’s hair is currently platinum blonde. Previously, it was dark brown, almost black.
5) He’s a singer, songwriter, and talented musician. He began teaching himself how to make his own beats at age 9. So, add producer to his list of talents. How amazing is that?! There’s really nothing he can’t do.
