1) The Dreamland weighted baby blanket was inspired by Tara Williams and her husband, Rob’s need for sleep. The couple’s newborn Luke would be up at all hours, but once Tara put a heavy blanket down, Luke fell fast asleep. Soon after, the idea for the weighted baby blanket was born.

It is available for purchase on Amazon. It has an almost 5 star rating. Fan favorite!

2) Tara wanted to fill the gap between the weighted blankets and the audience of babies. There were blankets out there for adults, and even pets, but nothing for the littlest ones. Dreamland was created to fulfill that need.

3) It’s easy to maneuver, even having a two-strip flap so parents can easily change a diaper while keeping their child comfortable. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, which takes away the worry of the heavy connotation that can sometimes come up with “weighted” blankets.

4) There are 3 different sizes for Dreamland: 0-6 months at 26 inches/8 lbs., 6-12 months at 30 inches/15 lbs., and 12-22 months at 34 inches/20 lbs.

5) The social media response has been great, with Dreamland’s Instagram having over 21,000 followers. Their reviews speak for themselves too, with 5-star ratings overall.
