American Idol is back with more auditions this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Anthony Key. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Anthony.
On his youtube channel he describes himself as a pop singer, dancer, and musician. He says, “I want to be a light to the world and vision of hope especially for the youth through my performance.”
Anthony has multiple videos up on YouTube and approximately 1.55K subscribers. One video he has up has 50K+ views. It’s called “Blackpink sings with a fan during send off in Newark NJ.
1) While his name is Anthony Key, he sometimes goes by his music moniker, “Popstar Anthony.” He is in fact a pop singer.
2) He has released one track. It’s cleverly called “Key to My Heart.” Anthony sings it acoustically in the IG video below:
3) Anthony is technically a triple-threat. He can sing, play guitar, and dance. His YouTube channel has quite a few dance routines. Check out one below:
4) Anthony met Aaron Carter back in 2017. In 2019, he asked the members of BLACKPINK to sing lyrics of “Key to My Heart” and he got it on video. That video has over 50,000 views.
5) According to his Instagram bio, Anthony “wants to be a light” through performance. With this American Idol debut, we’re sure he’s well on his way.
