Who Is Jon Batarse, Founder of Glove Wrap from Shark Tank Season 15?

Jon Batarse is the founder of Glove Wrap which will be on Shark Tank on October 13, 2023 for season 15 episode 3.  Jon has quite the resume and he is adding entrepreneur to this list same for two oldest kids, daughter Morgan who is 11 and son, Gavin who is 8.

Gavin is a pitch man and face of the brand.  Jon helps with many of the logistics and marketing techniques, then Morgan serves as the manager overseeing operations keeping everyone on track. (Daily Pilot from latimes.com)  

Jon Batarse is from Newport Beach, California.  He is listed as an Executive Director and Pastor, Brander and Strategic communicator.  

He went to University of California Irvine receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Law & Society.  While he was in college he participated in multiple activities and societies including Office of Executive Vice President for ASUCI, Club Soccer, Gospel Choir, and The Summer Bridge Program.  Following receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from UC Irvine he went to Purdue University to receive his Master’s Degree in Communications.

After school he became the Marketing Director for Billabong.  Then he founded his own marketing agency called the Brander Marketing Agency from 2006 to the present.  While he was doing this he became the Director of Communications for St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and more recently the Executive Pastor of that church in Newport Beach, California.  

Jon’s Instagram is private but in his bio he does call out to Glove Wrap saying, “If you own a baseball glove, you need Glove Wrap.”
