Keep reading to learn about the product, the founder, and where to buy it.

An Update on Stakt from Shark Tank

Stakt from Shark Tank 2022
SHARK TANK – “1403” airing FRIDAY, OCT. 7 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/Christopher Willard) MILLIE BLUMKA, TAYLOR BORENSTEIN

1) The Stakt Mat is a multipurpose fitness mat. It’s designed for extra comfort and support that traditional mats don’t give. Mostly, it’s used by yogis (yoga enthusiasts) but it can be used by other fitness buffs.

2) The mat is twice as thick, but it’s still light enough to transport for on-the-go. You can use it for pilates, resistance training, and high intensity interval training (also known as HIIT) in addition to yoga. You can jump, lunge, etc. with the mat, and it even folds to give you access to step-ups, tricep dips, or increase/decrease the incline on other exercises.

More on the Founders

Millie and Taylor from Stakt
SHARK TANK – “1403” airing FRIDAY, OCT. 7 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/Christopher Willard) TAYLOR BORENSTEIN, MILLIE BLUMKA

3) Taylor Borenstein and Millie Blumka were both yoga practitioners before inventing Stakt. Their workouts lasted a long time, and took its toll on their knees, elbows, and more. They originally tried piling up yoga mats, but that didn’t work. So, they decided to invent their own versatile fitness mat.

Where to Buy Stakt

4) Colors available are rosewater, seafoam and iron. The mats are double sided, a smooth side, and then one with more grip. You can shop them on their website now.

5) Millie and Taylor are giving back. They are donating a portion of their sales to Northwell Health’s Feinstein Institutes for medical research. The duo also created an Upcycle program for their mats. Simply send them your used up mat, and they’ll give you credit towards a new one. That way their mats don’t end up in landfills and impact the environment.

How to Watch

Watch Shark Tank on Friday, October 7 at 8 PM to see if Millie and Taylor get a deal. You can also stream the episode next day on demand or on Hulu.
